I have finally completed my Irish Walking scarf.
It was a great starter pattern for those of us who want to get familiar with simple cables. This began as my "knitting olympics" project but then I decided that I really wanted it longer than planned.
My goal this spring is to reduce my pile of unfinished projects - 2 pairs of socks, 1 sweater, 2 shawls, and 1 ruana (more info on this to follow). Wish me luck.

W-O-W! The scarf is exquisite and making me want to get that cable needle out. Your work is impressive. Was it hard?

Thank for the compliment. I found it really easy because you only had to do the cable every 8 rows. For me that wasn't too bad, though I did have to have another project nearby, that I called "my mindless knitting" just in case I wanted to zone out
